My mind and body are dragging from a 5:30 a.m. check in. Thank goodness the medical center provides free coffee and pastry. A long day it was. My husband was in the operating room for over three hours having spinal surgery. Everything went according to plan, so let the bone graft healing begin! Happy to say my husband was able to eat Saltines and Jello with his pain meds cocktail, so here’s hoping for a Friday release.
And on the homefront, schnauzer lands in bowl of cucumber dip and bunnies have moved into my backyard. Oh yeah…we’re in for some sizzling sun. 40C / 102F, anyone? Hopefully the heat will help the hubby heal.
