Semi-Daily Scribbles

This week I received a surprise parcel from my BFF, Monica. Monica has lived in Texas, where my husband and I currently reside, and she knows how hot Spring/Summer/Autumn is around these parts. She bought a couple cute warm weather tops to cheer me up since the heat has a way of wearing you down. But of course, these were no mere everyday t-shirts. Instead, what the postman brought to my doorstep was none other than official Summit Entertainment “Eclipse” movie tie-in apparel sold by my favorite retailer, Nordstrom. Having grown up in the Pacific Northwest, shopping at Nordy’s was a time-honored tradition. Today, one can find a Nordstrom in a whole host of cities, but when I was a kid, the clothing store was known mostly to we moss covered denizens of Puget Sound.

Now there’s no need to rifle through my closet to find something suitable to wear when I go see “Eclipse.” Thanks Monica!
