Semi-Daily Scribbles

If our goal has already been achieved, then we're just running to catch up to the prize. Yes? Here's another truth: we are all good and bad influences on one another. We do things, and don't do things, based on what we see within our circle. But none of us can change; not in that deep down, fundamental way a Changer expects. People who think they can transform someone are addicted to futile pursuits. Changers play the game with victory in their sights, but they end up leaving the field with a whole lot of L's under the column. Doesn't stop them from trying. Let the Changers expend energy on empty endeavors. Just don't get caught in their snare. That is the way to a slow death for hunter and prey. HEA is open to interpretation. Beginner's luck is all we ever have. The antidote is to believe in what we have yet to dream. There is a long line waiting behind, arcing and tremulous, watching for the next move.
