• PopulationProgress is marked with fields sprouting water towers. Migration marches on, while the population standing on two legs overruns the one cowering on all four. What was once wild is now paved and striped as yet another stretch of the endless mile.

    Breathe

Head above water, but current promising to not give up without a fight.
Current promises became outdated before they were sold.

Moving forward keeps us from sinking.
Too much thinking feels like drowning.

The perfect world wrapped in a bubble to keep air out.
    We're told to breathe.
    It's not so automatic anymore.

  • CommunityThe herd lost its drive. The original design of a peaceful community got swept away in a gully-washer as soon as everybody's path became the right one. Leaders, followers, and stand-alone guys all have somewhere to go, and traveling in packs doesn't always provide protection. So singles and doubles dropped back and listened to the gut, not the gallery, and egos were bruised as the group splintered. It's tough to gauge what will appeal to the widest audience. Some need to be noticed, while others find solitude is the only solution. One knows what is best by having a plan, while another leaves it all to chance and relishes the messy aftermath. Memory plays wicked tricks on those who claim to remember. What message is worth repeating when unity gets trampled on over and over again?
