Dear Theresa,
Thank you for signing the open letter to Gov. Rick Perry.
I wanted to take a minute to ask you to take a few more steps to help spread the word about Gov. Perry's association with the American Family Association.
1. Simply hit the forward button! Share this information with your friends, and ask them to add their names to the open letter to Gov. Perry. Let's be sure the governor knows that he should represent ALL Texans and promote a culture of mutual respect for all of our state's diverse religious traditions.
2. Please share this information on Facebook. Become a fan of the Texas Freedom Network page, or simply share the link to the open letter on your own wall (tfn.org/DearGovPerry).
Again, Theresa, thank you for taking a stand.

Musicians’ Brains Stay Sharp as They Age
via fyiliving.com
After reading this research summary, I'm definitely sticking with my plan of studying music again. I've recently picked up the guitar after years of merely picking at it. I have the same come-and-go relationship with voice and piano. My impetus to get back into the rhythm came about from a leadership course I attended for work. I learned great life lessons that I thought:
"Wow. What if I actually applied this learning to my L I F E?" Fine idea, no?
So now my mornings are occupied by conquering the barre chord and building up those calluses that are a guitarist's best friend. If a little finger pain staves off a withered brain, let me keep strumming away.
