Semi-Daily Scribbles

Today I loaned a book to my friend Monica. I'm in McKinney. Monica lives in Greenlake. How'd they manage that, you ask? Easy! Amazon has recently launched a feature enabling Kindle owners and Kindle reading application users to share books. Reading recommendations are always a treat to give and receive. In the case of two friends separated by a large chunk of the country, lendable Kindle titles are a wonderful way to stay connected. I'm looking forward to the books that Monica and I will discover together as we read our way through 2011.
